Encourage someone with low self-esteem

Take the time to encourage a friend or relative who you know suffers with low self-esteem by sending them a text, an email, a letter, a note — or, best of all, by spending time with them — complimenting them on how wonderful and unique and special to you they are.

I have received a note of encouragement from a friend in the past. A few years ago, I was under a lot of pressure at school and a anonymous friend left a note in my locker to remind me how strong I was and to say they were praying for me. It was so encouraging and reassuring to know that I had friends who were willing to be there for me. A small note can go a long way
